Chara beats the record for the hardest shot

It is amazing how hard these hockey players can shoot a puck. In the NHL 2009 super skills all star competition, Chara, Captain for the Boston Bruins, brakes the all time record for the hardest shot. From what I’ve seen, the hardest shot I’ve ever seen in this NHL competition was 98 miles/hours (I watch the All-star competition every year). Chara blows out the competition with his second shot (the players only get two shots). His first shot wasn’t too good, but his second blew out the competition, his second shot was 105.4 miles par hour, hardest anyone has ever seen. Chara was surprised him self, but he claims to of been practising his slap shot for the longest time, since the beginning of the NHL season in 2008. He hasn’t perfected it though until a little less then half way through his season. Chara always had a good wrist shot, but his slap shot and his ability to control the puck and move in fluently, but his slap shot needed improvement. After he got his slap shot down (It didn’t even need to be good) he got promoted captain.) It pays off in the end though, Chara brakes the record for the hardest shot ever recorded.
